How to Play WordBlockCrush

The basics

  • Click or tap a letter, then drag across neighboring tiles to spell a word.
  • Words need at least 3 letters.
  • Connect letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Release to submit — valid words crush the tiles.
  • New letters cascade down to fill the gaps so the board keeps going.

Scoring & bonus

  • Longer words score significantly more points.
  • Bonus Blocks are the dark-blue tiles with a gold star. Use one in a word for extra points, and it fills the bonus meter — a full meter triggers the BONUS ROUND slot machine.
  • Spell 3 words in a row that each use a light-blue tile to trigger Power Play: a lit hint letter and double points for a few seconds.
  • Use an orange tile in a word and it also crushes every other orange tile on the board — free extra clears.
  • Find the level's target number of words to advance.
  • Out of moves you like? Shuffle the board — 1 use per level, and you can win it back by scoring points.
  • After your last shuffle, the button becomes your Life bar — it shrinks every second, so keep spelling words to refill it or it's game over!
